DFAMPC Partners with Fruit Stand to Bring Healthy Food Options to DFA Employees

Pasay City, October 21, 2025 — The Department of Foreign Affairs Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DFAMPC) has taken another step in promoting member welfare and workplace convenience through its newly signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Fruit Stand. The ceremony took place at the 6th Floor DFA Mess Hall, DFA DoubleDragon Tower, DD Meridian, Pasay City. In the signing photo, the key representatives present were: Maricar Ramos, Owner of Fruit Stand; Rosanna A. Pinangay; Maria Theresa Jesusa F. Albano, DFAMPC Chairperson; and Jemmalyn T. Lucero, DFAMPC General Manager. Also present were members of the DFAMPC Board of Directors and the Business Development and Consumer Committee (BDCC). This partnership aims to provide DFA employees and cooperative members with easy access to fresh, healthy, and delicious food options right at the workplace. By bringing nutritious choices closer to members, DFAMPC continues to demonstrate its commitment to health, sustainability, and overall member satisfaction. “This collaboration reflects our ongoing goal to enhance the well-being of our members through innovative and convenient services,” said DFAMPC Chairperson Maria Theresa Jesusa F. Strengthening Partnership for Quality and Reliable Catering Services for DFA Employees Pasay City, October 21, 2025 — The Department of Foreign Affairs Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DFAMPC) formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Sta. Ines Pablo Catering Services on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the DFA Mess Hall, 6th Floor, DFA DoubleDragon Tower, DD Meridian, Pasay City. This strategic partnership highlights DFAMPC’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable services to its members and the broader DFA community. The agreement aims to ensure the consistent and efficient provision of catering services aligned with DFAMPC’s standards of excellence and dedication to member satisfaction. The MOA signing ceremony was attended by members of the DFAMPC Board of Directors and Officers, alongside the proprietors of Sta. Ines Pablo Catering Services. DFAMPC Promotes Sustainable Urban Agriculture and Hydroponics

Pasay City, Philippines - October 11, 2025 Empowering Members with Practical and Eco-Friendly Farming Knowledge On October 11, 2025, the Department of Foreign Affairs Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DFAMPC), in collaboration with the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI), held a Seminar on Sustainable Urban Agriculture and Hydroponics attended by DFA employees who are DFAMPC members. Organized by the DFAMPC Education and Training Committee in coordination with Management, the activity aimed to promote sustainable and space-efficient farming practices suitable for urban living. The Crop Research and Production Support Division (CRPSD) discussed the importance of maximizing small spaces using recyclable containers, organic fertilizers, and indigenous vegetables to improve food security and environmental stewardship. Meanwhile, the Agricultural Engineering Division (AED) introduced Hydroponics—a modern, soil-free method of growing plants using nutrient-rich water solutions ideal for city environments. The seminar featured resource speakers Mr. Mark Kenneth M. Sierra, Agriculturist I, and Mr. Clyde Mark G. Domingo, Project Development Officer I, both from the Bureau of Plant Industry, with Ms. Marife Laoagan, Engineering Aide from BPI–Agricultural Engineering Division, serving as facilitator. A total of 41 participants joined the event, which was also graced by Ms. Maria Theresa Jesusa Albano, DFAMPC Chairperson, and Mr. Allan N. Aguilar, DFAMPC Vice Chairperson, who commended the members’ interest in sustainable and eco-friendly initiatives. Department of Foreign Affairs Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DFA-MPC) Conducts School Feeding Program

Pasay City, Philippines — In line with the national celebration of Cooperative Month, the Department of Foreign Affairs Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DFA-MPC), through its Education and Training Committee and Gender and Development (GAD) Committee, successfully conducted a School Feeding Program at Marcela Marcelo Elementary School on October 7, 2025. The activity forms part of DFAMPC’s ongoing commitment to community service and nation-building, underscoring the cooperative principle of concern for community. Through this initiative, the cooperative seeks to support the holistic development of young learners by promoting proper nutrition, health awareness, and educational enrichment. This unified system will allow applicants to seamlessly order apostille PSA document online and have them delivered to their desired location, offering an unprecedented level of convenience and efficiency. This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of our own DFAMPC team. A special thank you to our Chairperson Ms. Maria Theresa Albano and the Board of Directors for their unwavering support, ICT Committee led by Mr. PJ Alexander Seguis, BDCC Committee lead by Mary Ann E. 2025 DFAMPC Bazaar: Honoring the Legacy of the Department of Foreign Affairs

Pasay City, Philippines – August 6, 2025 - In celebration of the 127th Anniversary of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), the DFA Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DFAMPC) proudly hosted the 2025 DFAMPC Bazaar, a vibrant three-day event filled with culture, craftsmanship, and community spirit. Held at DFA Mess Hall, 6th Floor, DoubleDragon Tower, the bazaar showcased a diverse range of products from local entrepreneurs, including handmade jewelry, artisanal accessories, traditional textiles, and home-cooked delicacies. The event served not only as a marketplace but also as a platform for supporting small businesses and promoting Filipino creativity. The event was graced by DFA officials, DFAMPC members, and staff who took the time to explore the stalls, interact with sellers, and show support for local products. Their presence highlighted the cooperative’s mission to foster camaraderie, economic empowerment, and community engagement among its members. To make the celebration even more exciting, daily raffle draws were conducted at the end of each day, giving bazaar-goers the chance to take home special prizes. This added a festive touch to the occasion, bringing smiles and anticipation to both shoppers and vendors
