DFAMPC and Kalayaan Elementary School MPC Formalize Partnership Through MOA Signing

Pasay City, Philippines — November 13, 2025 — The Department of Foreign Affairs Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DFAMPC) and the Kalayaan Elementary School Multi-Purpose Cooperative (KESMPC) have officially formalized their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) under the KOOP KAPATID Program, an initiative of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) designed to strengthen collaboration and support the growth of emerging cooperatives. The MOA signing was held at Kalayaan Elementary School, Brgy: 201 Kalayaan Village, Pasay City. As part of this partnership, DFAMPC extended significant support to KESMPC by donating ₱100,000, which will serve as seed funding for KESMPC’s upcoming development projects. This highlights the DFAMPC’s commitment to uplifting fellow cooperatives and fostering sustainable community empowerment. The KOOP KAPATID Program aims to cultivate unity within the cooperative sector by encouraging established cooperatives to provide guidance, mentoring, and assistance to smaller or developing cooperatives. DFAMPC Extends Support to PWD Community Through Cooperative Month Initiative

In celebration of Cooperative Month, the Department of Foreign Affairs Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DFAMPC) joined the Pasay City Government and the Pasay Cooperative Development Office in the meaningful activity, “Handog Kalinga ng Kooperatiba para sa Komunidad at Pamilya.” Held on October 30, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Admin Conference Room, Pasay City, the outreach event focused on giving back to the community by extending assistance to persons with disabilities (PWDs). As part of the Pasay City Government’s Project for Persons with Disabilities, DFAMPC donated gift cheques worth ₱1,000 each to 20 PWD recipients.
