PASAY CITY, Philippines — 10 February 2026 — The DFA Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DFAMPC) formally administered the Oath of Office to Mr. PJ Alexander T. Seguis upon his appointment as Special Project Oversight on 10 February 2026 at the DFAMPC Office, 7th Floor, DFA DoubleDragon Tower, Pasay City. During the ceremony, Mr. Seguis pledged to faithfully perform the duties of his position, uphold the Cooperative’s Constitution and By-Laws, and abide by the decisions of the General Assembly and the Board of Directors. He further committed to dedicating the necessary time and effort to his role, guided by cooperative principles and anchored on fairness, equity, and justice. The oath was administered by Mr. Dennis V. Marnilego, Chairperson of the DFA Multi-Purpose Cooperative, who expressed confidence in Mr. Seguis’ contribution to the Cooperative’s projects and initiatives.

Asis upon his appointment as Member of the Election Committee, during an oath-taking ceremony held at the DFA DoubleDragon Tower, Pasay City. Mr. Asis solemnly affirmed his commitment to faithfully discharge the duties and responsibilities of his office in accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws of the Cooperative, as well as the resolutions and decisions of the General Assembly and the Board of Directors. He further pledged to devote the time and effort required of his position and to conduct himself with fairness, equity, and integrity, guided at all times by cooperative principles and the best interest of the Cooperative. Jianne Rose Augustine Navarro formally took her Oath of Office as Legal Adviser of the Department of Foreign Affairs Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DFAMPC) during a ceremony held at the DFAMPC Office, 7th Floor, DFA DoubleDragon Tower, DD Meridian Avenue, Pasay City. In her oath, Atty. Navarro pledged to faithfully perform her duties and responsibilities, uphold the Cooperative’s Constitution and By-Laws, and support the decisions of the General Assembly and the Board of Directors. She also affirmed her commitment to devote the necessary time to her role, guided by cooperative principles and dedicated to promoting fairness, equity, and justice in the best interest of the Cooperative and its members. The closing program marked the culmination of several days of festive activities, featuring a wide selection of local products, holiday treats, and unique finds that brought together members of the DFA community. The highlight of the event was the much-anticipated raffle draw, which filled the venue with excitement as lucky participants won various prizes. The bazaar runs from 15 to 17 December 2025, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the DFA Mess Hall, 6th Floor, DoubleDragon Tower. The event featured a wide selection of food items, clothing, gifts, and locally made products, providing a platform for cooperative members and partner vendors to showcase their offerings while fostering camaraderie, mutual support, and community engagement.
DFAMPC Raises Awareness on Cybercrimes Amid 18‑Day Campaign to End VAW.

The Department of Foreign Affairs Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DFAMPC) held a learning session, “Cybercrimes and Other Digital Threats Against Women and Children,” on December 10, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Function Halls A–C, DoubleDragon Tower, Pasay City. The activity formed part of DFAMPC’s observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, underscoring the cooperative’s commitment to raising awareness and empowering communities to address and prevent gender-based violence, particularly in the digital environment. PCPT. Chonalyn S. Sagun of the Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management, PNP–Women and Children Protection Center, served as the guest speaker. She provided valuable insights on online risks, emerging cyber threats, and practical preventive measures to help safeguard women and children in an increasingly digital world. DFAMPC extends its sincere appreciation to PCPT. Sagun for her expertise and dedication to promoting online safety and protecting vulnerable sectors from cyber-related violence and exploitation.
DFAMPC GAD Committee to Turn Over Educational Toys to the DFA Day Care Center

Pasay City, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DFAMPC), through its Gender and Development (GAD) Committee, formally turned over educational toys and a children’s slide to the DFA Day Care Center on 09 December 2025 at 10:00 AM at the 6th Floor of the DFA Day Care Center, DoubleDragon Tower, Pasay City. This initiative forms part of DFAMPC’s continuing commitment to supporting early childhood development and advancing gender-responsive programs within the Department. Through its GAD Committee, the Cooperative remains steadfast in promoting safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environments for the children of its members. The donation includes a selection of educational toys designed to support key developmental milestones, encourage active play, and enhance social interaction. These resources aim to enrich the day care center’s learning environment and contribute to the holistic growth of the children under its care. Through this program, DFAMPC reaffirms its dedication to empowering families, enhancing member welfare, and strengthening support systems grounded in the principles of gender equality, child development, and cooperative service.
